Friday Update:

It is wonderful to see the sun shining today. There isn't much to report as we have been remote learning all week. Our CEO students have been instructed to begin working on their individual business plans this week. We are using a different model this year that should be more efficient for organizing their plan. Midland Institute hasn't required the Business Model Canvas but has encouraged each community to give it a try and see how it goes.

The journal assignment for this week is an article from Entrepreneur Magazine about How to Polish Your Public Speaking. https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/364559 Students are to read the article and then describe where they have seen improvement in their skills and what they still need to address. They are to video themselves speaking on the topic they have been assigned for our Mid-America Preparatory School visit on Monday. Mentors, this should all be sent to you via email. Please respond with a critique.

The Week Ahead:
Monday - Recruiting at Mid-America Preparatory School
Tuesday - Class Day - wind up class business
Wednesday - Midland Institute Webinar: National Pitch Competition
