Alumni Spotlight: Alex Goldesberry | Class of 2023
From charcuterie boards to community leadership!
During her time in the CEO program, Alex launched Beautiful Chaos Charcuterie, creating and selling custom-built boards for events, gifts, or just a personal treat.
Today, Alex is the Community Director at the Family YMCA of Fayette County, overseeing programs that serve and strengthen her local community. She’s also pursuing a degree in Business Administration & Marketing at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
“This program doesn’t even have words to fully describe its impact on me. I am no longer chained to anxiety and fear, but instead filled with confidence and pride. CEO pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me the tools to become a strong, capable leader. It gave me a sense of purpose that I carry with me every day.”
Looking ahead, Alex says: “In five years, I see myself wherever God has planned for me. I love the work I’m doing now and would be overjoyed to still be serving my community through the YMCA. If it’s in His plan, I also hope to be starting a family of my own.”
