Alumni Spotlight: Mitchell Miller | Class of 2024
As a co-founder of Route 51 Feed and Supply, Mitchell launched a livestock feed and pet food business with his younger brother in November 2022. What started as a shared venture has grown into a thriving operation that continues to serve the community—and his brother plans to carry it forward in the CEO program this coming year.
Mitchell recently completed his first year at Lake Land College and will transfer to Kansas State University in the Spring of 2025 to pursue a degree in Animal Science and Industry. While studying, he continues to run the business and will spend this summer interning at ADM in Effingham—an opportunity made possible through CEO and his entrepreneurial experience.
“The CEO program has pushed me to be a better version of myself. I have grown as a leader and gained invaluable connections that I would not have had otherwise. The CEO program has truly pushed me towards greater success.”
“I see myself in a management role in a feed mill or other sector of the Animal Science industry. I also see myself starting a life with the love of my life.”
