Alumni Spotlight: Cameron Withers | Class of 2020

Cameron launched Uphigh Aerial Photography during his time in CEO, turning his passion for aviation into a drone-based photography business.

After graduating from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a degree in Aviation, Cameron has stayed focused on his dream of becoming a commercial airline pilot. He is currently building flight hours by working as a flight instructor and flying for a private company, gaining real-world experience and refining his skills in diverse flying conditions.

“The program impacted me in many amazing ways. It taught me the importance of stepping out of your comfort zone and not being afraid to introduce yourself to people. In the aviation industry it is all about who you know, and CEO truly helped me be able to go out and meet people. During CEO we talked about the importance of networking and I am very grateful for the advice and tips we received.”
