Keegan Ward is 17 years old and a senior at St. Elmo Jr.-Sr. High School. He is involved in several clubs, including the St. Elmo/Brownstown Trap Team, Band, National Honor Society, and serves as sound tech for the St. Elmo Drama Club. Keegan has worked for various farms in St. Elmo and Brownstown, performing tasks such as operating and maintaining equipment, cleaning barns, and doing landscaping work. After graduation, he plans to attend the Missouri Welding Institute in Nevada, Missouri, to become certified and pursue a career in welding, with the goal of eventually becoming a pipe fitter. Keegan decided to join the CEO program after seeing the positive experience his sister had last year. He hopes the program will push him out of his comfort zone and give him a head start in developing skills like communicating with potential employers, which he believes will benefit him in the future.
