Lucas Miller is the son of Josh and Kim Miller of Ramsey, Illinois. He is 17 years old and a senior at Ramsey High School. In high school, he has been involved in the National Honor Society, Student Council, and FFA. He was inducted into the National Honor Society in the spring semester of his sophomore year and has been active in Student Council since his freshman year. FFA has been a large part of Lucas’s life. He was voted in as a chapter officer at the beginning of his sophomore year and has also earned high recognition for his work in FFA. His highest accomplishment in FFA has been earning an Illinois FFA State Proficiency Award in Agricultural Sales – Placement. This award was earned through his hard work in his SAE/record book on the business he manages, Route 51 Feed and Supply LLC. This business was created by Lucas and his brother, Mitchell, in November 2022. They sell livestock feeds, medications, supplies, and equipment. Lucas hopes to use this experience to deepen his understanding of agricultural sales and the principles of success to help him earn a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business. He joined the CEO program to gain information to improve Route 51 Feed and Supply and to create lifelong connections within his community.
