Guest Speaker: Dana Miller Leskera

Thank you to Dana Miller Leskera for speaking with our class today. Dana, a Vandalia native and the visionary behind the Liberty Theater revival, shared her journey from Chicago back home and how she is bringing new energy to downtown Vandalia through creativity and community.

She encouraged our students to think like entrepreneurs and focus on building businesses, not just jobs. She also focused on scaling by adding team members, expanding product lines, creating subscriptions, offering classes and parties, and providing great customer experiences.

We left today with lots of ideas to help create our vision statements.
