Today we explored DISC and leadership with Asa Thomas, Branch Manager at Nutrien Ag Solutions in Nokomis. Asa is also a longtime CEO supporter, having served as both a mentor and sponsor.

Students learned that no personality style is “bad.” It’s about understanding yourself, recognizing how others communicate differently, and learning to work well together.

A few key takeaways: you don’t need a formal title to be a leader, and being a boss isn’t the same as being a leader.

As students begin working together on their class business and individual ventures, these skills will help them communicate, collaborate, and lean into their strengths.

Thank you, Asa, for sharing your morning with us!
