This morning, our CEO students were able to spend time with longtime friend and supporter of CEO, Asa Thomas. Asa has served as both a sponsor and a former mentor.

We were welcomed to Nutrien and given an inside look into the many different aspects of running a successful business. From discussing the legalities companies need to consider to learning about products and their chemical components, Asa shared valuable knowledge and real-world experiences. We had the opportunity to tour the warehouse and learn about inventory.

Some of the best lessons we learned were to own our mistakes, work to find solutions to problems, and to always take responsibility. Asa also reminded us that communication is key.

We are so grateful to Asa for taking the time to invest in our students and to share his experience, wisdom, and knowledge. These learning opportunities make CEO such a great experience!
