Alumni Spotlight: Lucas Miller - Class of 2026
“Since completing the Fayette County CEO program, I continued my business - Route 51 Feed and Supply LLC. While working at my personal business, I also have taken an internship opportunity with Central Commodity FS (based in Taylorville, IL). This is an agricultural based internship where I have had the privilege to work aside many experts in the agriculture and business field. When I am not working at my internship or my business, I also have continued to work and manage my family’s livestock farm. After the summer ends, I will start attending Lake Land College to earn my Ag Transfer degree, then transfer to an out of state university to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business.
With all of this going on this summer, one of the many things I learned in CEO was the importance of communication. Whether I am talking to my family about keeping them up to date with my schedule or to my employer about what jobs need to be completed, CEO truly has taught me skills that both my family and employer recognize daily.”
