🌟 Another incredible morning of learning for our Fayette County CEO students! 🌟
Today, we had the opportunity to spend time with Brent Oberlink from Lanracorp, who shared some incredible
business advice and life lessons with us.
Brent reminded us to expect curves—because they will come. In business and in life, things don’t always go according to plan, and we have to be willing to pivot, adapt, and keep moving forward.
Our students learned about the difference between cash flow and profit, the importance of key performance indicators (KPIs), and the value of practicing intentionality in everything we do.
But perhaps Brent’s biggest lesson was simple: It’s all about grit. DON’T GIVE UP. 💪
Whether we’re talking about faith, family, fitness, or work, each of these areas requires grit. Success doesn’t happen by accident. It takes perseverance, commitment, and the willingness to keep going when things get difficult.
Brent encouraged our students to:
✨ Not let the fear of starting something stand in their way
✨ Be continuously improving
✨ Always have a mentor
✨ Build a strong community around them
✨ Be the greatest at what they do
✨ And remember that we are called to do more than simply exist
He left us with a motto that we can all carry with us:
WIN THE DAY. 🏆
Thank you, Brent, for investing your time, knowledge, and experience into our students. Your lessons went far beyond business—they were lessons for life. We are grateful for your mentorship and for the reminder to keep pushing forward, embrace the curves, and never give up! 💙
