🌲 Learning, Growing, and Making an Impact! 🌲

Fayette County CEO joined Shelby County CEO for a visit to G.L. Beaumont Lumber Company in Ramsey, Illinois! This family-owned sawmill produces lumber, mulch, and wood chips for the forestry industry.

Our students got a firsthand look at how logs are transformed into useful products and learned what it takes to keep a successful operation running. It was a great opportunity to see the hard work and process behind an important local industry!

Nate also shared some valuable life lessons with our students, including the importance of adapting. If you aren’t getting what you need, figure out how to make it happen! He also shared his favorite part of running a business: making a difference and having an impact on the world around him.

His message to our students? Make your career moves make sense. Make it count.

A huge thank-you to Nate and G.L. Beaumont Lumber Company for welcoming us and sharing your knowledge, experience, and wisdom with our future entrepreneurs! 👏
